Email

hello@synccy.com for anything about the app, and privacy@synccy.com for a data request under the GDPR.

There is no ticket system and no support queue — there is one developer, so replies come when they come rather than within an advertised window. Saying so is more useful than promising an SLA nobody is staffed to keep.

What to include

Four lines make almost any report actionable, and without them the first reply is just a request for them:

  • Which device and which OS version — for example "iPhone 15, iOS 18.4" or "MacBook Air M2, macOS 15.3".
  • What you were doing, in the order you did it.
  • What you expected, and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot or a screen recording, if the problem is something you can see.

Please do not send media you would mind a stranger seeing. If a bug only reproduces with a particular file, say so and we will find another way.

Security

If you believe you have found a vulnerability, report it privately to hello@synccy.com rather than in public. You will get an acknowledgement and be kept posted. There is no bounty programme — again, one person — but credit is yours if you want it.

Asked most often

When does Contentbuilder launch?

It is not in the App Store yet, and there is no listing to pre-order from. Join the early-access list and you will get one email the day it is there.

What does the free tier not do?

Three things, and they are worth knowing before you install rather than after. Video exports carry a small "Made with Contentbuilder" badge. You can have two posts scheduled at a time and two saved hashtag groups. And the starter caption templates are yours, but writing your own is Pro.

Can it schedule a post and publish it automatically?

It schedules a reminder, not a post. At the time you picked, your device notifies you and you run the hand-off. Nothing publishes while you are away, because nothing can: the app has no connection to any network to publish through.

Does buying it on iPhone unlock the Mac?

Not yet, and it would be easy to imply otherwise. On iPhone the subscription runs through Apple. The Mac app reads its subscription from an endpoint configured in Settings — a separate channel with a separate receipt. Until both sit on one channel, treat them as two.

The rest of the questions are on the homepage, and what we can prove covers the privacy side in detail.
